NOAA team to host a webinar on the 2022 Arctic Report Card findings

The Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy (ACCAP), a NOAA, CAP/RISA team, is hosting a webinar titled “Arctic Report Card: Background and Key Findings.” Rick Thoman, the ACCAP Alaska Climate Specialist and co-author of the report, will be speaking on the value of the information that is provided and its key findings. The Arctic Report Card is an annual evaluation of the state of the Arctic by examining key “vital signs,” ranging from air and ocean temperature to sea ice and snow. The report also discusses emerging topics like increased Arctic ship traffic.
