Our Climate. Our Future. is a multimedia experience that will bring climate education into schools across the U.S. and beyond.

Weather + Climate Day is a statewide education program in Maryland focused on engaging students, teachers, and informal science educators with climate change through the lens of weather.

On June 6, 2015, 10,000 lay citizens, representing demographic diversities in 76 countries and 97 locations including 4 in the U.S., participated in the largest-ever informed single-day public deliberation on climate and energy. 

The World Climate Project equips climate leaders with the materials to confidently lead people in thought-provoking, mock-UN events that simulate the United Nations climate. Thousands worldwide are participating in these role playing events of the climate talks to understand the level of action needed to address climate change.

YEA! MN is a youth-driven network of high school environmental clubs, including 20+ high schools from a cross-section of urban and suburban school districts. 

CoCoRaHS is for citizen scientists of all ages and from all walks of life who can spend a few minutes per day collecting information on precipitation in their area. 

White House Office of Science & Technology Policy (OSTP) in partnership with the U.S. Global Change Research Program’s Education Interagency Working Group (Lead federal agencies: NOAA, NASA, USDA/USFS, DOI/USFWS, NSF) launched on December 3rd 2014 a new Climate Education and Literacy Initiative to help connect American students and citizens with the best-available, science-based information about climate change.

The GLOBE Program is a partnership in science and education that gives students and the public worldwide the opportunity to help researchers understand the global environment and climate.

This program provides an important opportunity for high school age and above students to learn and engage in emerging science and engineering issues from the citizen’s perspective – to consider the social and ethical issues that may accompany complex science meets policy issues like geoengineering, synthetic biology, climate change and energy transition.

Citizens have long contributed to scientific studies of clouds. Since 1994, the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment Program has been engaging students around the world in observing and reporting about clouds.
