Figure 1. title states "degrees F. per decade"; while the caption states "degrees C. per ten years". Would greatly appreciate the whole of American science yielding to the conventions of the common folk, and deliberately adopting the scientifically retrograde habit of talking climate/meteorology in Fahrenheit. For the same reason Toyota does not print its sticker price in Yen. (After we put across the concept, that, climatically, we have a problem, I am all in favor of resuming the campaign of science instructing the folk, that the metric system's base 10, or decimal foundation, offers the same advantages as Jefferson's gift of our dollars, dimes and cents--which spared us the miseries of pounds, shillings and pence.)
