(After we put across the concept, that, climatically, we have a problem, I am all in favor of resuming the campaign of science instructing the folk, that the metric system's base 10, or decimal foundation, offers the same advantages as Jefferson's gift of our dollars, dimes and cents--which spared us the miseries of pounds, shillings and pence.)
