i heard that the thing causing the north eastern snow is a thing called the "greenland block". because the old northern ice cap is now the great northern slurpy , it is greenland that holds the largest mass of ice (and therefore coldness) in the northern hemisphere. It is the lesser differance between the equator and the northern ice cap that determines a lower differance in temperatures and therefore causes the slow wavyness of the jet sytream. what corrective mechanisms were you thinking of ? what feedbacks?
