Does this mean there is a greater chance of tropical weather from Mexico moving north towards AZ and then northwest over the Sierras in the summer? Seems like we been getting more and more summer rain events on the west slope of the Sierras over the past few years. Is this a pattern we can expect to increase. It's actually nice to get summer thunderstorms once in awhile.
