I was reading an article on the CBSnews.com site today regarding the latest data. "Unofficially," and according to my memory (which is VERY unofficial): The 86' - 88' El Nino brought some unusually dry and hot summer weather to the Seattle area. I recall we had some rather busy wildfire seasons in Washington State during that period too, along with mandatory water restrictions at one point. Hmm... Sounds like 2015.
