There is no "San Lucas Island" off the coast of California. The previous poster is a troll. Hat off to "climate.gov" for having a sense of humor to post his/her post. No evidence of radio waves blocking rain because it rains lots of places that have lots of radio waves. The SW US has been dry for centuries and longer causing the deserts early Europeans encountered and previous people had mostly "deserted" or else die off. When/if things get really bad in the SW, the US govt will send lots of high altitude jetplanes up spraying chemtrails that make lots of rain, if the SW is worth terraforming. Might be easier to use nuclear power in all of coastal California to convert sea water to fresh water to pipe inland to mostly flat SW states for gigantic huge swaths of agriculture to feed the world, and the SW will become whimsically known as the manure pile of the world due to rotting left over vegetation and cow poop needed to fertilize crops. With prevailing winds blowing towards the east, all the US will appreciate and enjoy the new prosperity of SW water abundance :) Time to buy land in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico (and build giant methane gas recovery facilities). gene
