The AMOC in the Atlantic is warm ,the NAO is positive as a result the MDR has cooled but the Gulf of Mexico ,Carribean and mid Atlantic are all warmer then they should be. The trade winds are expected to weaken in the Atlantic which will warm up the Atlantic.The Southern Atlantic is cooling down. The Gulf stream is very warm.
