I guess that's the "out" when a forecast is so obviously wrong. It was a very hard winter for much of the country including the So Cal and the desert southwest that saw incredible precipitation and way below normal temp's. Phoenix had one of the coldest/wettest winters in 50 years. It looks like the spring forecast for the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies will be wrong also as temps have been below normal most of March and there is still a winter storm track happening in the west into April. Must be more atmospheric randomness.
