I think the current "Little El Nino" is now finished. The upper ocean temperature anomaly graph is now into the blue zone. As yet there is no sign of any more downwelling Kelvin waves about to kick-off in the western Pacific. Note too that the Australian BOM never declared this event to be an El Nino, and now they have downgraded its status from "El Nino Alert" down to "El Nino Watch".
