After a record breaking cold/wet winter over the entire western half of the country ( opposite of predicted result) we now have an extended trough of low pressure dominating the west and causing colder and wetter just as it did this past winter. Isn't this a typical result of an El Nino climate? This is exact set up that happened all winter long. That really hasn't changed and when they close the books on the spring results I'm betting the west and most of the country will be colder and wetter than average and what was predicted.
