In addition to sliding the 30 year period forward every five years do you ever put much thought into sliding the 0.5 degrees Celsius threshold up? Say maybe to 0.75 degrees Celsius? I remember reading somewhere in this blog(or in the comments section) that Australia uses 1 degree Celsius. Also does the warmer atmosphere make it harder for ENSO to be "bottom up" driven?
