Hello,
I am somewhat of a weather enthusiast because of my line of work and where I live in Chilmark on the Island of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusettes which is right next to the North Atlantic storm track. My business of road maintenance and the fact that I surf keeps me reading and researching anything to do with climate and weather. The article you wrote was exciting and very informative; being near the ocean is inspiring as far as the weather is concerned. Ocean influence is so powerful we can get slammed by a storm, which can be a blizzard or a deluge by just a twenty mile or less change in the storm track. What is very important to me regarding your article is the temperature of the ocean below the surface. What is very disturbing is that Hurricanes are tending to stall and being on an island and dependant on a ferry to get off and back is disturbing all it takes is one, thanks for your article, Chas de Geofroy
