i found this post after listening to a very interesting interview with Joe Bastardi on the MichaelBerrySho podcast (spotify, March 15, 2021 episode); very interesting! Very interesting to see how yall basically predicted this over 2 weeks before the disastrous freeze that hit almost all of Texas and much of the central and southern USA. Goes to show that the officials in charge of the power grid that went down had time to prepare. And, as can be seen with what happened, they did not prepare. Wow. Very interesting read! I learned a lot just from this, as a generally non-meteorological, non-scientific sort of person. Thanks!
