Thanks for your comment and pointing out the typo. Regarding the ensemble "average," I was referring to the mean. I did not examine the median or mode of the distributions, though I doubt any conclusions would change substantially. The seasonal mean for typical meteorological variables tends not to be that skewed (the central limit theorem works in our favor), although seasonal mean precipitation may still have some skewness in some regions. So, I would not expect big differences between the mean, median, and mode in most cases, but I would have to double check to see if there are any notable exceptions.
