Thank God that my husband's enablement of travel to our moon, and beyond, was easier than "predicting our weather." In the field of dynamics he began with a circular slide rule and ended with the computer advancements of the 1980's. It's even harder, today, because-of systems analysis which he didn't totally trust. "Human" systems are highly fallible unless the humans are "perfect," an impossibility. He still brought Apollo in under-budget as Chief of Aerodynamics, then a submersible with Bob Ballard and his father Chet and ended with the less than perfect though highly admirable Shuttle. Maybe he WAS perfect. ;>)
