Different climate on the Western slope in Colorado, but we agree with Bailey. We also say "this is the new norm" a lot. Strong and warm spring winds melt our snow pack earlier than ever recorded; we see lower sage animals migrating "up valley" while high Alpine critters are harder to spot. The ENSO engine is a strong contributor to weather patterns, but it seems to be less influential than in the past. There is, however, a lot of debate "up here" whether ENSO drives the weather west of the divide.
